OneDrive is a cloud storage service that allows you to store and share files. Files stored on OneDrive can be viewed, uploaded, and shared from other computers and devices. It's a password protected hard drive in the cloud that you can use to store thousands and thousands of files.


You can access these files whenever you are online, and you can give your friends access to them too. It is part of the suite of online services formerly known as Windows Live and allows users to keep the files private, share them with contacts, or make the files public. Publicly shared files do not require a Microsoft account to access.


OneDrive is now available worldwide. Free Cloud Storage for Microsoft, iOS, and Android Devices. In addition to personal cloud storage, Microsoft offers managed business storage as OneDrive for Business.
